The Milky Way is always a shockingly fun target to image. Only really visible in the mid-year months in the northern hemisphere, the Milky Way in dark skies is just a grey smudge across the sky. Looking fast enough, and without knowing, someone might just think of it as a haze to the south. Open up an exposure on a camera for 20 seconds and the vastness of our galaxy springs to life. Always a target I find myself returning to, just a few adjustments to the data collected from an exposure in photoshop adds an unlimited amount of artistic decisions to be made.
